Prof. Dr. Nicolas Apostolopoulos has been director of the Center for Digital Systems (CeDiS) since 1998. He was born in Athens, Greece, and he studied business administration at Freie Universität Berlin and computer science at the Technical University of Berlin. He holds a doctorate of economics. From 1989 to 1997 he was head of the Economics Data Center at the Department of Economics of Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2008 he is an Honorary Professor at the Department of Education and Psychology, Department of Media Education, Freie Universität Berlin.
