Antonis Antoniou was born in Volos in 1981. He studied History and Archaeology at the University of Ioannina and accomplished a master’s degree in History and Social Anthropology at the University of Thessaly. He received his PhD from the same University in 2016, his thesis related to post-war Greek political history. He worked as a researcher for the “Thales - University of Thessaly - designing the Museum of the city of Volos” research programme (2013-2014) and in the School of Architecture of the University in the context of the “Housing policies and habitation practices in the city Volos (1922-2015)” programme.
Research interests: Colonialism, contemporary political history and history of ideas, nationalism, local history.
