He studied theater at Karolos Koun Art Theater School of drama, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London (RADA) and was trained at Butoh Theater and kinesiology by Kazuo Ohno Sensei in Tokyo. By 1995 he turned his attention to documentaries and founded Petra Film, an independent production company focused on creative documentaries. In 1996 he was awarded the National Award for Documentary for the production of the Thomas Moshopoulos directed documentary “Meri Amen- searching for Alexander’s tomb”. A film based on his extensive research on the subject. It was screened in International Festivals as well as TV channels both in Greece and abroad and has since won numerous awards. He has collaborated as a researcher, script writer, director and co producer in Greek and European documentary productions and has written and translated scripts for films and theater plays.
